Firm Overview

A. James Rockefeller, Esq. has been a member of the Georgia Bar Association since 1995 and the Florida Bar Association since 1989. He received a bachelor of arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 1984 and a law degree from John Marshall Law School, Chicago in 1989.

Over the past 16 years, Jim has been involved in a wide variety of successful litigation experiences in various states and venues. Between 1989 and 1993, and again from 1994-1995, he was an Assistant State's Attorney in Miami/Dade County, Florida. While there, he participated in more than 50 successful jury trials. His successful trial experience on both prosecution and defense teams has equipped him to handle any kind of case successfully – from high profile criminal cases to domestic disputes. Before launching the Rockefeller Law Center in Warner Robins, he was the attorney of counsel for another local law firm.

He holds memberships and offices in numerous civic and professional groups and founded Families Against Methamphetamine Abuse, Inc. (FAMA), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Central Georgia families cope with drug abuse. He currently serves as FAMA's president, and as such has assisted numerous families in Middle Georgia.
